Danielle Serdachny

World Champion

In 2019, Danielle played a pivotal role in Team Alberta winning the Canada Games. That year she also won her first gold medal with Canada’s U18 IIHF team at the Women’s U18 World Championship. In 2024, Serdachny scored the overtime game winner to propel Canada over the U.S. for the Women’s Hockey Worlds Gold. The forward has since become a Canadian legend, most recently throwing out the first pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays.

PWHL Trailblazer

In the second ever PWHL Draft, Danielle Serdachny was selected second overall by Ottawa. Following the draft, Serdachny joined NHL Tonight prior to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, in her hometown of Edmonton. Recently, Danielle attended the Bauer Combine.

Leader on the ice

Danielle was a Captain at Colgate University during her collegiate career. Following her freshmen season, she was named the Colgate Rookie of the Year and to the ECAC All-Rookie Team. Serdachny collected numerous accolades during her time at Colgate, including first-team All-ECAC, ECAC Player of the Year, ECAC Best Forward, First-Team All-USCHO, and First-Team All American.


She led Colgate to back-to-back ECAC Hockey Championships in 2023 and 2024. Propelling her to be a back-to-back Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Finalist
